Hello!

QUESTION
========
Is it possible, that batchman isn't able to parse and load 660603 patterns in
a pattern set?

BACKGROUND
==========
Within SNNSv4.1 batchman I tried to load one pattern set (consisting of 660603
single patterns), but batchman exits; in other cases with smaller pattern
files everything is OK.

The change in file kernel/sources/kr_newpattern.c (line 917)

from
 high = (n*tp)/ts;
to
 high = (int)(((double)n*(double)tp)/(double)ts);

have been made (with 'SC4.0 18 Oct 1995 C++ 4.1' and naturally compiled and
linked). The machine is an Ultra 1 model 170, SunOS release 5.5.1, main memory
is 256MB, virtual memory is 1.8GB, available free memory is enough.

ciao manfred
